Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical conditions and diseases
  • Manage patient assignments within a 25-bed ICU setting at a ratio of 1:5–6
  • Administer and reconcile medications using an automated dispensing system (Pyxis)
  • Document patient care and clinical data accurately within Cerner EMR
  • Adhere to all unit safety protocols, including mandatory mask use at all times within the ICU
Required Qualifications
  • Active single-state Oklahoma RN license or valid Compact nursing license
  • Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
  • Pediatric ICU experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications — must be American Heart Association (AHA) issued
  • NIHSS certification required
  • Must comply with unit dress code: Navy Blue scrubs
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a mixed adult and pediatric ICU environment
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
