Job description

Position Summary
The PRN Registered Nurse (Hospice) is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to hospice patients in accordance with the plan of care, policies, and procedures. The nurse ensures quality and safe delivery of home hospice services, coordinates with the interdisciplinary team, and educates patients and families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering medications, and documenting clinical notes.
  • The role also involves emotional support and end-of-life care planning.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills

 Education & Experience
