Location: Louisville, KY, 40217
Employment Type: PRN
Pay Rate: $40 - $45/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)  
Shifts Available: 12-hr Shifts

  • 06:45 AM – 07:15 PM 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our telemetry team on a PRN basis. The RN will provide direct patient care, monitor cardiac telemetry, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality nursing services to patients with cardiac and other complex health needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients on telemetry units in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment and promptly identify and report any abnormalities or changes in condition.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assess patients regularly and document changes in condition accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
