Overview:

Position: Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse 

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Department: Med Surg

Shifts Available: Nights

Pay: up to $672 โ€“ $768 gross pay per shift; equivalent to $56.00 โ€“ $64.00 per hour.

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Responsibilities:
  • Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
  • Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
  • Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
  • Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
  • Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
  • Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
  • Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
  • Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  1. Current and valid state RN License
  2. Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
  3. Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
  4. Previous one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting required. 
  5. PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $60.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
