Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking a RN - ER/Med Surg for our client in Refugio, TX,78377 . This is a 13-week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!
Position Title: RN - ER/Med Surg
Location: Refugio, TX,78377
Duration: 13 Weeks with High possibility of extension
Work Schedule: Nights 4 on 4 off
Pay rate: 60-65$/hr
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Assess and triage patients, providing emergency care for trauma, medical, surgical, and pediatric cases.
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments while monitoring patient status and vital signs.
  • Perform clinical procedures, assist with emergency interventions, and respond to critical situations including Code Blue events.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate EMR documentation while ensuring patient safety and infection control standards.

To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification and ongoing emergency nursing education.
  • Emergency patient assessment, triage, and critical care management.
  • Advanced clinical skills including IV insertion, blood draws, wound care, splinting, and catheterization.
  • Cardiac rhythm interpretation, telemetry monitoring, and Code Blue response.
  • Medication administration, EMR documentation, and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
