Job Description:

The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) will provide direct assistance to surgeons during surgical procedures in the Operating Room. This role includes preparing and maintaining the OR environment in a constant state of readiness and assisting with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.
  • Ensure aseptic and sterile techniques are maintained.
  • Participate in patient assessments and treatment planning in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • ACLS certification
  • BLS (AHA) certification
  • Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification via CCI
