Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

A community hospital is seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join its inpatient care team. The Med-Surg RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions and post-surgical needs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed

  • Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status

  • Provide wound care and assist with post-operative recovery

  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse License (RN)

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • BLS certification

  • Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg experience
