Position qualifies for $5.00 per hour premium pay for variable differential
Status: Full Time 72 hours per pay period
Shift: Variable
Position Summary:
The Acute Care Unit at Bonner General Health offers the opportunity to provide care to a very diverse patient population. We care for patients of all ages who demonstrate a wide variety of healthcare needs. We are a team of committed, compassionate staff who offer excellent care and make a strong difference in the lives of our patients every day. We believe in providing the best care possible and advocating for the needs of our patients.
Staff on the Acute Care Unit have the opportunity to spend time with our patients, the ability to use, build and retain nursing skills, and the gift of working in a friendly, team oriented environment. We care for people with any number of illnesses, surgical needs and/or medical needs. We welcome staff with considerable nursing experience as well as staff who are new to the nursing profession and have a desire to learn and grow. We work closely with the Bonner General Health Intensive Care Unit and offer the occasional opportunity to work and learn in that environment also. Education:
Graduate of accredited nursing program
Experience:
Minimum graduate nurse of accrediting professional program. New RN graduates are welcome to apply.
Licensure/Certification:
Current State of Idaho RN license; current BLS certification (AHA); preferred certifications: ACLS and PALS or obtained within 6 months of hire
