First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week daytime opening for a Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) at a state-of-the-art facility in Issaquah, Washington. This 10-room surgical suite manages an active pacing of approximately 20 cases per day across a diverse mix of inpatient (30%) and outpatient (70%) care channels. If you are an experienced surgical nurse looking for a predictable daytime block schedule, or a dedicated clinician ready to dive into your very first travel assignment, this facility proudly welcomes you!

  • Weekly Gross: $2,524.00
  • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,724.00
  • Hourly W2 Rate: $20.00/hr
  • Overtime Rate: $30.00/hr (Billable after 40 hours)

  • Schedule: Days, Mondayโ€“Friday, 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM (5x8-Hour Shifts, 40 hours guaranteed weekly).
  • Block Scheduling: Yes! Guaranteed block schedules are fully honored.
  • On-Call Requirements: Shared evenly among approximately 15 RNs. Shifts are 12 hours total. Weekdays run 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekends and observed system holidays run either 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
  • Weekend Coverage: Limited to scheduled on-call support only.
  • Surgical Caseload Structure: Comprehensive service lines spanning Orthopedics (including Sports Medicine), General Surgery, Urology, Gynecology, Spine, Plastics, and Robotics. Minor pediatric exposure (~10%).
  • Core Role Duties: Independent competency to circulate ENT, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, OB-GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, and Robotics. Scrub experience is required for Trauma and Vascular lines.
  • Floating Requirements: Yes, must be willing to float to related campus locations under the same service line to meet immediate patient needs.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years (24 months) of acute care OR experience. Prior experience with Robotics and Ortho Sports Medicine is required. First-time travel nurses are fully welcome!
  • Highly Preferred Specialties: Strong clinical background in ENT with endoscope experience and independent Robotic/ENT scrub skills is heavily preferred.
  • Licensure: Active Washington State Nursing License in hand at submission (Swedish/Providence facilities honor active multi-state compact licenses).
  • Certifications Required: Active AHA BLS is required. ACLS is highly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiencies: Confirmed checklist documentation handling Procedural Sedation, Blood Administration, Surgical Drains, Epidural Pumps, Wound Vacs, and PICC/Central/Port-A-Cath vascular access care.
