Job description

American Traveler is seeking a Chemo Certified RN for an outpatient oncology clinic position requiring prior outpatient clinic and phone triage experience at a large academic Level I Trauma Center.
Job Details
• Outpatient multispecialty clinic setting within a large academic medical center (1,500+ beds, Level I Trauma Center),
• Patient population includes Breast Oncology, Breast Surgery, and Plastic Surgery patients,
• Duties include telephone triage, in-basket management, assisting providers during clinic visits, and new and return patient visits,
• Pre-op/post-op teaching and chemotherapy patient education are core responsibilities,
• Charting performed in Epic,
• Day shift schedule: 4x9-hour shifts, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM,
• Parking available on-site at candidate's expense (~$125/month),
Job Requirements
• Active CT or Compact RN license required,
• Current BLS certification required,
• Chemotherapy certification (ONS or equivalent) required,
• Outpatient clinic experience required,
• Phone triage experience required,
• Trauma center experience at a large facility required,
• Epic EMR experience preferred,
• Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions required for consideration,
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

• 13-week contract,

• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler,
