Responsibilities
Our caregivers provide personalized, non-medical home care that helps clients remain safe, independent, and engaged at home. Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, and eating
• Helping clients move safely and assisting with ambulation
• Preparing meals and feeding according to dietary needs
• Performing light housekeeping and maintaining home safety
• Providing medication reminders
• Offering companionship and social engagement
• Running errands and grocery shopping
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment including sanitation and infection control
• Understanding the emotional needs of clients and families and supporting their well-being
• Attending team meetings and participating in care plan development and evaluation
• Observing and reporting changes in condition to supervisory personnel
• Responding quickly and professionally in emergencies
• Keeping accurate and up-to-date visit records
Qualifications
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
• Must pass background checks
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
• Ability to safely lift and assist clients
Preferred:
• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Six months or more experience in home care or senior care
