Facility: Via Christi Hospital St. Francis

Department: Virtual Safety Monitor

Schedule: Rotating | Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 7-7, rotating weekends

Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through our academic partnership with Wichita State University.

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Provide observation and surveillance of assigned patients.
  • Monitor patients by use of video monitors.
  • Communicate and/or instruct patients by use of 2-way audio device.
  • Notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level.
  • Complete documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues. 
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:

Preferred Credential(s):

  • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • CNA, PCT, HHA, or CMA experience
  • Administrative, computer skills, Customer Service
  • Rotating Day or Night shift as needed: 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
