Position Overview

Calibrated Diagnostic and Behavioral Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Virtual Mental Health Counselor for a full-time position. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your chosen environment while ensuring you maintain work-life balance. As part of our virtual care team, you will utilize a reliable online platform that supports video sessions and secure client communication. Our telehealth facility empowers both therapists and clients by reducing barriers related to travel and scheduling, ultimately enhancing the therapeutic process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one virtual therapy sessions with clients using our secure online platform, establishing a professional rapport to facilitate effective treatment.
• Assess clients’ mental health needs through thorough intake processes and create comprehensive, personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's circumstances and goals.
• Regularly monitor clients' progress throughout therapy and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, ensuring that goals remain relevant and achievable.
• Keep detailed and accurate records for each client, documenting therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment adjustments in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to client care when necessary, including referrals to additional resources outside of therapy.
• Stay updated on best practices in mental health care, teletherapy techniques, and relevant state regulations to ensure top-notch service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele of varying ages and backgrounds, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our clients often seek therapy to develop coping strategies, improve their emotional well-being, and achieve personal goals in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required, equipping you with a solid foundation in mental health principles and practices.
• Possession of an active state licensure as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
• Demonstrated experience providing individual therapy, preferably through telehealth settings, showcasing flexibility in using digital tools for effective client engagement.
• Proficient technological abilities to manage online session tools and maintain confidentiality while delivering client care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trusting relationships with clients and provide empathetic support.
• Ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a cohesive team environment, fostering collaboration in a virtual setting.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or those with addiction issues is a plus.
• Exposure to evidence-based therapy techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and understanding of compliance regulations surrounding telehealth practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Calibrated Diagnostic and Behavioral Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, contingent on experience and qualifications.
