Job description

Job Summary: 

Provides administrative support services to various areas of a fire protection branch.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • None

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Data entry. 
  • Responds to general inquiries from management, employees, clients inside and outside of the company. 
  • Interface with vendors and various internal departments. 
  • Assist with special projects and research as needed. 
  • Assist with managing PO's, tracking orders, receiving and billing/invoices order as required. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • 2 years previous experience providing administrative support.
  • Skills in using MS Office  
  • Dependability and ability to follow instructions. 
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, planning and organizational skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of standard administrative practices, software applications and satisfaction. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, talking on the phone, attending virtual online meetings, and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
