Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Michigan Schools
1099 Independent Contractor | Fully Remote | School-Based Services

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in Michigan to provide fully virtual services to K–12 students in a school-based setting. This is a remote, 1099 independent contractor opportunity offering a consistent flat hourly rate for both direct and indirect services.

This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about supporting student communication goals while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Monitor student progress and adjust goals/interventions as needed
  • Utilize virtual therapy platforms and digital resources effectively

Qualifications

  • Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Comfortable providing teletherapy services in a virtual environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently as a contractor

Compensation & Benefits

  • $46-52/hour flat hourly rate for both direct and indirect services
