Description
St. Pius X Catholic School (Norfolk, VA) seeks a Middle School Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Successful candidates will foster the mission of the school, adhere to the Diocesan prescribed curriculum, create engaging lesson plans, foster critical thinking skills, implement innovative and differentiated instructional strategies, use 21st century teaching skills including digital learning, make instructional decisions based on ongoing student data, and work collaboratively with the faculty. The candidate must be organized, possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and maintain an effective and supportive Christ-centered classroom learning environment.
Requirements
Appropriate degree with a Virginia teaching license in Middle School Math with accompanying High School credit Math endorsement for Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and Geometry is required for the position.
