Minimum Experience Requirement

A minimum of 4-6 years of verifiable commercial and/or industrial electrical experience is required for this position. Applicants who do not meet this experience requirement will not be considered. This is not an entry-level or apprentice position.

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in Harrisonburg, VA.

Position Overview

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems and equipment. This role supports a variety of industrial projects and requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain industrial electrical systems, equipment, and components
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues involving motors, controls, lighting, backup systems, and low-voltage systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and technical schematics
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability
  • Use electrical testing equipment to identify and troubleshoot system issues
  • Coordinate with supervisors, team members, and other trades to complete projects efficiently
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and identified issues
  • Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and applicable electrical codes
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience required
  • Journeyman Electrician License preferred
