Your Responsibilities: 
  • Provide individualized tutoring for an 8th-grade student in core subjects, with a priority focus on math.  
  • Reinforce the student's strong executive functioning, study skills, and self-confidence.  
  • Support homework review and test preparation.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and our office about student progress
Subject Areas:
  • Math: Pre-algebra, algebra 1 concepts, geometry foundations 
  • English/Language Arts: Reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar
  • Study Skills & Executive Functioning: Organization, time management, note-taking
  • Science: Life science, earth science, physical science
  • Test Prep: MCAP and MAP preparation, study strategies
