Job Description
The Test Engineer will be instrumental in developing and overseeing an automated virtual test environment within a cloud-based infrastructure. Leveraging cutting-edge tools such as Ansible Playbooks and Gitlab, the engineer will ensure seamless integration and functionality of various subsystems and components. A key responsibility includes establishing and upkeep of the Program's Requirements Traceability Verification Matrix (RVTM), ensuring accurate information exchanges, and compliance with standards set by authoritative bodies like the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide and manage the design and implementation of an automated virtual test environment in a cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain the Program's RVTM, ensuring all subsystems and components are accurately documented and verified.
  • Establish critical operational issues and corresponding measures of effectiveness (MOEs) in line with JITC guidelines.
  • Create and oversee the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), including detailed test plans, cases, and procedures.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution, plus eight (8) years of relevant Test Engineer experience.
  • Alternatively, twelve (12) years of Test Engineer experience instead of a bachelor's degree.
  • Proficient in testing design and execution within virtual environments.
  • Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership in software development testing efforts.
  • Experience in supporting Agile software development processes.

  • Proficiency in both LINUX and Windows applications.
