Position Summary

Math part-time faculty teach developmental and credit courses ranging from Arithmetic through Calculus and staff the virtual and face-to-face tutoring labs.
The college values those having experience working with diverse student populations. A willingness to teach at any AACC location, various course formats, daytime face-to-face, and/or a non-traditional schedule (weekends/nights) is preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
* Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics.
* Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas.
* Fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member.
* Teach all scheduled classes.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Assignments may include day, evening, weekend, on-line and/or off-campus classes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or related field required to teach Developmental Mathematics courses.
Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field required to teach credit level math courses.
Proven instructional experience and dedication to student success.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years teaching experience in mathematics
