What Makes This Role Different

Unlike many traditional teaching roles where teachers are expected to build everything on their own, Think Academy teachers work within a structured instructional system with curriculum support, training, class materials, and team collaboration. In this role, you will receive:

High-performing teachers may grow into opportunities such as:

  • Senior Teacher
  • Lead Teacher or Mentor
  • Curriculum and Lesson Development

  • Grade homework and provide timely academic feedback
  • Communicate professionally with students and parents about progress, performance, and learning goals
  • Participate in teacher training, lesson preparation, and ongoing professional development
  • Work approximately 30โ€“40 hours per week, with most classes scheduled during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress
  • Strong math foundation and comfort with elementary school math topics or above
  • Passion for teaching and supporting student growth
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to commit at least one semester with fixed teaching schedule (Fall semester ends in Dec. 2026)
  • Available to work during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends
  • Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, camp teaching, classroom teaching, or working with younger students is a plus
  • Math competition background (such as AMC or related experience) is a plus, but not required
  • Available to attend a 5-day on-site training (paid) in San Jose, CA as part of onboarding
