You'll begin by partnering with teachers and school leaders in local schools, whether in Omaha, Lincoln, Kearney, Ogallala, or surrounding areas. Your day includes conducting classroom observations, modeling effective teaching techniques, and providing real-time feedback to ensure high-quality, standards-aligned reading instruction. You'll also guide teams in analyzing assessment data to identify student needs and refine instructional practices. Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven ability to analyze student data, supporting tiered interventions through informed instructional practices.Experience in coaching and mentoring educators is essential, as is the capability to model lessons, facilitate planning sessions, and provide constructive feedback. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are necessary for building trust with teachers and school leaders. Additionally, organizational skills to manage multiple coaching assignments, along with proficiency in technology and virtual platforms, will enhance the coaching experience in diverse educational settings across Nebraska.A growth mindset, flexibility, and initiative are key attributes for adapting to various school environments and meeting the unique needs of educators.
