TRAINING & OD - LEARNING COORDINATOR

 Job Summary

 

Under the direction of the Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD) manager, the Learning Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of learning and development programs, including e-learning, in-person and virtual learning experiences. This role ensures learning initiatives are organized efficiently, accessible to employees, and supported through effective use of the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning technologies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. Coordinate and schedule training sessions, workshops, webinars, learning events, and onboarding activities.
  2. Manage and maintain calendars, enrollments, attendance, logistics, and materials
  3. Facilitate and support in-person and virtual training sessions, including platform setup, participant access, and live troubleshooting
  4. Serve as a primary point of contact for facilitators, learners, managers, and vendors
  5. Evaluate and route training support requests
  6. Develop and manage communication plans to ensure timely, accurate program information is shared across appropriate channels
  7. Maintain accurate records of learning activities, completions, certifications, compliance requirements, and other related documentation
  8. Generate standard and ad hoc reports on learning participation, progress, and completion rates
  9. Maintain LMS data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and escalate technical issues as needed
  10. Provide LMS troubleshooting support for learners and managers (e.g., course access, completion tracking, transcript errors
  11. Assist with training evaluation by collecting feedback and reporting results
  12. Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to administrative processes and LMS usability

Requirements

 

Experience:

      • 1–3 years of experience in training coordination, HR, or administrative support
      • Experience supporting virtual learning platforms and LMS systems preferred
      • Strong organizational and time-management skills
      • Strong attention to detail and data management skills
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
      • Training or facilitation experience preferred
      • Knowledge of Articulate, Snagit development tools a plus
Education:
      • Associates or Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field; or relevant certification or work experience
Physical Demands of Job

 

  1. Occasional travel to all CA facilities
  2. Lifting or moving supply boxes, projector, or other portable projection equipment; ability to lift up to 20 lbs.; walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly
  3. Equipment used in performing only the essential functions includes computer and related equipment, calculator, copier, fax machine, laminator, scanner and telephone.
  4. Attendance and punctuality.

The pay range for this position is $31.00 to $33.00. The actual pay rate offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and the amount budgeted for the role.
