Job description

South Ripley High School & Junior High School is seeking to fill a Virtual School Coordinator (non-certified) position for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a 7-hour-per-day, 185-day position that follows the school year calendar. The position is paid at a daily rate and is eligible for the full non-certified benefits package.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations of the South Ripley Virtual School program for grades 7-12.
  • Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and course completion.
  • Support students and families with enrollment, scheduling, and communication.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop individualized learning plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Indiana Department of Education requirements and school policies.
  • Provide guidance and intervention strategies for students needing academic or behavioral support.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and student data related to virtual learning.
  • Promote student engagement, accountability, and positive relationships in an online environment.

Any new hire after July 1, 2009 will be required to complete an Expanded Criminal History at the employee's expense through the school-approved vendor.
