Clinical Outreach Liaison- IOP Mental Health

Thousand Branches Wellness provides outpatient mental health treatment for adolescents and adults that supports meaningful progress without requiring a pause from everyday life. Our services are ideal for individuals who want high-quality care while continuing to fulfill responsibilities at work, home, school or in the community. Outpatient treatment can provide the structure, consistency and flexibility needed to build momentum over time. A subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), one of the largest and most respected providers of hospital and behavioral healthcare services, Thousand Branches Wellness is seeking an experienced Clinical Outreach Liaison who enjoys the excitement and challenges of a start-up to join our team in Austin, TX!

Through clinically informed community outreach and referral engagement. This role is responsible for the execution of outreach activities with a strong clinical lens, ensuring referral partners are supported in identifying appropriate level-of-care placements. Working within established outreach priorities, the Liaison will serve as a clinical resource in the community, helping bridge gaps between providers and treatment services.

This is a field-based, externally focused role and does not include responsibility for internal program operations, staffing, or clinical service delivery. This position may entail evening and/or weekend hours as needed for community events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned outreach plans with a focus on clinically appropriate referral development
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, including therapists, psychiatrists, hospitals, and community providers
  • Conduct regular in-person outreach, meetings, and follow-ups to maintain strong community presence
  • Collaborate with Admissions and clinical teams to support appropriate and timely referral transitions
  • Track outreach activity and referral trends to support consistency and follow-through
