Job description

Position: Automotive Injection Molding Technician
Location: Cookeville TN
Pay: $17.40 per hour
Shift: 3 PM to 11 PM

Job Description:Are you skilled in automotive injection molding and looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking Automotive Injection Molding Technicians to join our team at our facility in Cookeville TN. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting injection molding machines to produce high-quality automotive parts.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate injection molding machines to produce automotive parts according to specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Perform mold changes, tooling adjustments, and material changes as required for different production runs.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on molded parts to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
  • Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and quality inspections.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to optimize production processes and resolve technical issues.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in automotive injection molding or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of injection molding processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and production schedules.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with others in a fast-paced production environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in injection molding is a plus.
