Reports To: Senior Coordinator for Educator Evaluation and Leadership
Salary: This is a contracted position for the delivery of training. The pay rate is $600 per day for delivery of training.
Job Summary (Primary Purpose):
Contracted Trainers will deliver high-quality professional development aligned with the Appraisal Hub guidance and state requirements. Trainers will facilitate in-person and virtual sessions designed to build evaluator capacity, support instructional leadership, and ensure fidelity to the designed frameworks. This role requires strong facilitation skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to educator growth.
Required Qualifications (Experience, Education, and Certificates):
  • Master's degree from accredited institution in education or related field
  • Current Texas Principal Certificate
  • Current T-TESS Certification
  • Current AEL (Advancing Educational Leadership) Certification
  • Ability to interact with technology efficiently
  • Ability to articulate content and provide engaging verbal delivery
Preferred Qualifications (Experience, Education, and Certificates):
  • Recent experience (within the last 7 years) as an effective campus leader in Texas
  • Experience delivering training effectively to adult audiences
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of education systems in Texas

  • Manage the training environment, ensuring participant engagement and addressing needs in real time
  • Track attendance and maintain accurate records of participant engagement
  • Follow up on training sessions with required documentation and communication to finalize the process
  • Serve as a representative of ESC Region 13, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public
  • Perform other duties as assigned
