Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:

The Equipment Pool Assistant is responsible to receive requests for patient care equipment and supplies and to deliver them to and from designated areas. Will use systems to track hospital and rental equipment for daily inventory, cleaning, and set-up. Will also perform basic repairs of equipment. A primary focus is on customer service and meeting customer requests and expectations.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:

  • Skill to perform basic mathematical computations, and to use general office equipment including computers, copiers, and calculators
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practice of infection control techniques
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment, with the ability to work overtime and dictated by patient care demands

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months of demonstrated experience as a Patient Escort or an Equipment Pool Assistant, in a patient care/hospital setting
