Job description

UCHealth is seeking an Orthopedic Physical Therapist for our Virtual Health team. In this remote role, you will provide video-based evaluations, treatment, and follow-up for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. You’ll design individualized, evidence-based plans of care, guide therapeutic exercise, support pain management, and educate patients and families on recovery and injury prevention. Working within an academic, nonprofit system, you will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, document in our EHR, and contribute to innovation and quality improvement while growing your skills through ongoing learning and development.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver virtual orthopedic physical therapy evaluations and follow-up visits
  • Develop and adjust evidence-based, patient-centered treatment plans
  • Provide remote therapeutic exercise instruction and pain management strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams across UCHealth’s system
  • Educate patients and families on recovery, mobility, and injury prevention
  • Document care accurately in the electronic health record
  • Monitor patient progress and modify interventions as needed
