Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School in Pasco County is looking for a dedicated and experienced full-time High School Guidance Counselor for the 2026-2027 academic year. The chosen candidate will play a vital role in providing guidance counseling services to support the school community, aligning with the school's faith-based mission and values.
**Qualifications:**
- Wholehearted commitment to the mission and values of Catholic Education.
- Masters degree in Counselor Education or a related counseling field.
- Possession of a valid FLDOE Professional Certificate or Statement of Eligibility in Guidance and Counseling (Gr. PK-12).
- Familiarity with educational programs like FACTS, Canvas, Parchment, College Admissions, FL Bright Futures, FL Virtual School, College Board, and ACT.
- Preferred minimum of three years of experience in high school counseling.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to support their academic, personal, and social development.
- Collaborate with faculty, parents, and external organizations to create programs that enhance students' well-being and educational success.
- Assist students in developing academic and post-secondary plans that align with their goals and aspirations.
