This position primarily operates in a remote setting with the backing of our outpatient office in Waukegan, providing a blend of in-person and virtual care. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Arrowhead, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on detailed diagnostic and functional evaluations, and making informed recommendations to primary care providers regarding treatment goals and plans.
• Providing brief, targeted intervention for clients in need of mental health support, ensuring adherence to best practices aligned with Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, delivery of health services concerning behavioral health care, and coordinating with external treatment providers, obtaining necessary patient permissions.
• Actively advising primary care providers on patient treatment plans, aiding in the identification of at-risk individuals, and crafting relapse prevention strategies.
• Educating patients about self-management skills and facilitating their engagement in their treatment processes.

Our clientele ranges widely, including children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds. You will interact with individuals facing various challenges, from mild stress and anxiety to complex emotional disorders. Your role will emphasize fostering resilience, promoting mental wellness, and supporting healthy lifestyle choices. You will be instrumental in developing tailored approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient while offering a safe environment for them to express their concerns.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.
• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) licensure.
• Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic methodologies.
• An understanding of developmental psychopathology, family systems, and behavioral therapies.
• The ability to build cooperative relationships with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish to enhance communication with our diverse patient population.
- Previous experience working within a multidisciplinary care team, particularly in clinical or outpatient settings.
- Familiarity with telehealth systems and electronic health record management.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 – 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a supportive work environment, we provide:
