The operational need to add members to our support staff will continue to enable robust solutions in the IT Service and Support framework. The position supports both the active contracts as well as new contract support requests in facilitation of business capture, operations, and new technology insertion. Close relationship building with the customers ensures operational readiness and compliance. This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced IT and security professional who will support networking, physical and virtual computing infrastructure, threat detection tools, system monitoring, incident response, and secure technology integration. In this multifaceted position, you will manage systems administration, security operations, compliance activities, and user administration in coordination with ISSOs and ISSMs. Responsibilities include system integration, configuration, deployment, remediation, and ongoing operations. This position is onsite 5 days per week at the posted location(s) only. No relocation assistance is provided. Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities: * This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
* Administer and maintain Linux-based operating systems and virtualization platforms, such as Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, VMware, KVM, QEMU/KVM, and Hyper-V.
* Support Windows server and workstation environments, including standalone systems and enterprise-wide deployments.
* Provide multi-platform support for OEM appliances and VMware-based Windows and Linux virtual appliances.
* Mentor junior and mid-level team members on installation procedures, operational best practices, and security-focused administration.
* Install, configure, operate, and maintain security and analysis tools such as Trellix, SentinelOne, Nessus, Splunk.
* Perform system patching, vulnerability remediation, and hardening activities for systems and networks.
* Deliver Tier 1 through Tier 3 technical support and collaborate with Tier 2 support teams as needed
* Produce and maintain operational and technical documentation, including OPS policies/instructions, CONOPS, SECOPS, and system build documents.
* Assist with the implementation, integration, and rollout of new IT solutions and technologies.
* Provide technical support for security compliance efforts and system accreditation processes. Required Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph) Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Security operations of systems supporting: Virtualization, Windows and Linux Computing solution engineering and architecture solutions
* Experience with on-premise, cloud and hybrid-cloud based deployments.

* Active federal security clearance.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated leader with team-oriented interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interface with a broad range of people and roles. Desired Qualifications: * Active Cleared Individual clearance supporting the overall business up to TS/SCI with polygraph.
* CISSP, virtual computing certifications, (DoDD 8570/ DoDD 8140).
* Experience with ITSM and/or ServiceNow.
* Comparable VMware certifications, RHCE, MS Certifications, Security Certifications IAT/IAM levels 1-3.
* Working knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and basic endpoint security principles.
