As a Google Cloud Security Manager on the Cloud Cyber Risk team, you will be responsible for...

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of Google Cloud Platform security engagements, overseeing on-site and offshore teams across security architecture, artificial intelligence and machine learning security, container security, data protection, monitoring, and secure delivery
  • Architecting secure-by-default solutions across Google Cloud Platform services including Gemini AI, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Model Garden, Model Armor, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Data Loss Prevention, Key Management Service, and Security Command Center
  • Establishing infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform and defining secure continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline patterns with automated security testing, policy enforcement, and reusable guardrails
  • Serving as the primary day-to-day client contact, driving outcomes across engineering, security, risk and compliance, and operations stakeholders
  • Managing engagement economics, delivery quality, staffing, and risk across concurrent workstreams while mentoring consultants and senior consultants
  • Supporting business development and practice growth through scope development, estimates, proposals, account expansion, white papers, conference speaking, and internal capability building

Our Enterprise Security offering embeds security in all aspects of digital transformation by securing a client's technical backbone while enabling secure digital transformation. Includes security architecture, secure development and deployment, end-to-end cyber cloud capabilities, application security, and security for emerging technologies and connected products.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or cloud security, including technical consulting, client problem solving, and delivery leadership
  • 3+ years of experience designing or implementing security solutions in Google Cloud environments
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams and managing client deliverables in a client-service environment
  • Experience with Terraform, continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline security, Google Cloud-native security services, and securing containers, artificial intelligence and machine learning workloads, or data in Google Cloud
  • Ability to travel 80%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Previous consulting or Big 4 experience
  • Experience securing generative artificial intelligence and agentic workloads on Google Cloud Platform services including Gemini AI, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Model Garden, and Model Armor
  • Experience growing client accounts and leading end-to-end technical security proposals
  • Published white papers or points of view, or speaking experience at security conferences
  • Experience with policy-as-code, multi-project governance, and regulatory or compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, ISO 27017, Service Organization Control 2, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500 to $265,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
