Job description

Financial Consultant Manager

Employee Referral Bonus: $250

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Financial Consultant Manager is responsible for leading the process of preparation and interpretation of complex financial analysis for Carelon Insights. Has end to end ownership/management of business processes and works across functions and business departments to drive holistic and consistent solutions.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Serves as primary liaison between finance leadership and business unit.
  • Prepares and presents month-end financial statements and supporting analysis.
  • Leads the processes for and prepares monthly financial forecasts, annual plans, and long-term growth plans.
  • Performs ad hoc analyses for business, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Consults with and provides management with solutions and recommended actions.
  • Supports commercialization efforts, new business opportunities, and other growth initiatives.
  • Works with cross-functional teams on strategic projects that support business unit and company goals.
  • Performs other relevant tasks in support of business and company objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 6 years budgeting, forecasting, and accounting financial reporting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Strong knowledge of internal business processes, data flow, controls and our financial systems.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM, SmartView, and PeopleSoft.
  • Ability to present results to a business audience and toparticipatecollaboratively in a team tasked to produce complex analyses on a rigorous schedule.
