Job description

Senior Test and Production Software Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and/or continue development of native GUI and browser based software tools used in the production of semiconductor lasers and devices.
  • Develop software for automating electrical and optical testing in custom test systems.
  • Create easy-to-use and flexible software to analyze large database resident data sets and to generate summary reports.
  • Collaborate with development engineers to mine data from Excel spreadsheets into SQL databases and generate reports and/or spreadsheets.
  • Rewrite engineering tools developed in Excel VBA or LabView in C#/.Net or other web based tool chain.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  Travel may  be required.
