Overview
The Field Clerk is responsible for providing direct support to the Project Manager or Superintendent and overseeing the day to day support activities affecting the success of the project. Mechanical, industrial or construction experience is preferred. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work. May be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting.
Responsibilities

  • Enter personnel information into computer system
  • Maintain documentation in employee files
  • Collect and distribute paperwork going to and from employees in the field
  • Run reports for active and inactive employees
  • Assist in tracking costs associates with Field Change Notices
  • Create purchase orders
  • Order materials and equipment
  • Assist other workers as needed

Qualifications
Physical: While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee may be required to:
  • Remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods during office work and meetings.
  • Move periodically across office settings, client venues, and active project or site locations.
  • Operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Frequently communicate and exchange accurate information in person, electronically, and during virtual or telephone meetings.
  • Lift or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally.
