Opportunity: Virtual Service Operations is searching for an experienced Mobile Application Developer to join our dynamic IT team in Ashburn, VA. This hybrid role requires candidates to work approximately 2 days per week on-site. This role requires a strong mix of communications skills and hands on technical troubleshooting to support application issues and application of preventative measures. In this hands-on position, you will work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems. You will exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines and other resource constraints. You will participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing. The candidate should have expertise in Mobile App Development.ย  Basic Qualifications: ย  * BS/BA degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masterโ€™s with 10 years of prior relevant experience; or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree ย 
* At least 5 years experience with Mobile Application Development, must have experience with both Android & iOSย 
* Requires experience in both Front-end Mobile and Back-end RESTFUL API development. ย 
* Requires experience in development of JAVA, Node JS applications. ย 
* Requires experience in both NoSQL and SQL databaseโ€™s. ย 
* Must have strong application testing discipline. ย Experience with Googleโ€™s Flutter engine and Googleโ€™s Dart language and similar Android/iOS framework. ย 
* Excellent problem-solving skills. ย 
* Creative thinker ย 
* Proficiency and knowledge of the following: Postgres, Springboot, SQL, Kafka, MySQL, Struts, Hibernate, Java, JSF, Swing, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular/React is desired. ย 
* Knowledge of software design patterns. ย 
* Experience with an issue/problem tracking system (e.g., Jira) ย 
* Proficiency with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices ย 
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills ย 
* Experience with DevOps frameworksย  Preferred Qualifications: ย  * Active CBP BI ย 
* Experience with CBP ย 
* AWS Experience ย 
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelineย 
* Worked in Agile environment ย 
* Other mobile framework Requirements * Must be able to work approximately 2 days per week on-site in Ashburn, VA
* Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status.
* Must be able to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start ย ย
