Job description

Summary:
The Onsite Virtual Registered Nurse (OVRN) will provide safe and age-appropriate supportive patient care in a virtual setting. The OVRN will serve as a vital resource for bedside staff, patients, and their families. The OVRN will work in partnership with the direct care nursing staff and other members of the patient care team. As a member of the care team, the OVRN will focus on new admissions, clinical assessments, care plans, patient education, discharge planning and teaching. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of bedside nursing experience in the adult inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provides and conducts and documents initial and ongoing clinical assessments suitable for a virtual setting, including obtaining patient history and objective and subjective data.
  • Provides and documents patient education based on the established care plans.

Credentials:

Essential:
  • 1-3 years with a minimum of 2 years of bedside nursing experience in the adult inpatient setting.
  • Nursing Degree
  • Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license

Preferred: AHA Basic Life Support Certification


Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
