Customer Service Representative

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a company in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Customer Service Representative will provide administrative and customer service support in a fast-paced, family-owned business environment. This role is responsible for assisting customers, processing billing and invoicing activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily office operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow within the company.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answer and assist customers over the phone in a professional and friendly manner
  • Learn customer service processes while working directly with team leadership
  • Process billing, invoicing, and data entry accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain and update customer records, files, and company databases
  • Utilize Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word, to create, update, and manage documents
  • Support daily office operations and administrative tasks as assigned
  • Assist various departments as needed and adapt to changing business priorities
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal team members
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality when handling company information
