• Conduct thorough assessments of clients seeking treatment for substance use disorder, identifying their unique needs and goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities.

• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to empower clients in their recovery journey.

• Lead group therapy sessions that promote shared experiences and community support, tailored specifically for individuals facing similar challenges.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care that addresses the multifaceted nature of addiction.

• Provide crisis intervention support as needed, assisting clients during substance-related emergencies with empathy and professionalism.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery strategies, and available community resources to ensure a comprehensive support system.

• Maintain accurate case documentation following HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring client confidentiality at all times.

• Participate actively in clinical team meetings and case consultations, continuously contributing to the improvement of care delivery and treatment outcomes.

• Commit to staying current with the latest research and treatment practices in the field of substance use disorders.

The clients you will serve include individuals of various ages and backgrounds who are facing challenges related to substance use. Many clients come to us at different stages of their recovery journey, often battling not only addiction but also co-occurring mental health conditions. Our aim is to provide compassionate, tailored care that meets each client where they are, helping them build sustainable paths toward recovery and wellness.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of one year’s experience providing counseling or therapeutic support in the context of addiction treatment is essential.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon is necessary.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches and strategies for managing substance use disorders.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on creating a non-judgmental, empathetic environment for clients.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards in all client interactions.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client information effectively and efficiently.

• A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals.

• Experience facilitating group therapy sessions and providing crisis intervention in addiction treatment settings.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methodologies.
