We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Caring Companions Behavioral Health Center. This role is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health issues to formulate accurate clinical diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize their unique needs.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to client goals, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness techniques.
• Provide crisis intervention support, offering immediate help to clients in acute distress or experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, regular updates on treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprised of psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care for our clients.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health challenges, treatment options, and community resources, advocating for their rights and needs within relevant contexts.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and workshops, staying current with industry trends and therapeutic practices.

In this role, you will interact with a diverse client base, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health challenges. You will provide essential support across various demographics, including children, adolescents, and adults, with a focus on family-oriented therapeutic approaches to encourage relational healing.

• A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and proficiency with therapeutic techniques.
• A minimum of two years of related experience in providing mental health therapy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and rapport-building with clients.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team-oriented environment.
• A commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards in all aspects of care.

• Experience in a clinical setting with virtual therapy formats.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to streamline documentation processes.
• Previous involvement in specialized programs or workshops related to trauma-informed care or specific therapeutic modalities.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
