This role is entirely remote, utilizing our sophisticated telehealth platform that enables video and text sessions with clients. As a mental health counselor working for Serenity, you will have access to a dedicated counselor dashboard which supports efficient communication and resource management, allowing you to focus on what matters most—your clients. • Conduct individual counseling sessions through secure video chat, providing a safe space for clients to discuss their emotions and experiences.
• Guide clients in identifying and reaching their therapeutic goals, fostering personal growth and resilience.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate clients on healthy coping mechanisms and strategies to overcome challenges in their mental health journey.
• Regularly document session notes and patient progress using the telehealth platform, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards.

Our clients encompass a diverse demographic, specifically adults who are seeking support for various emotional and psychological issues. As part of our teletherapy framework, you will work primarily with stable adults who present low acuity needs and are looking for constructive ways to improve their mental well-being. By engaging with a broader client base that may not be reached through traditional settings, you will play a crucial role in their healing and development.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current independent licensure is required, including one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No limited or provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach to client interactions.
• Comfortable working with technology and capable of using digital tools effectively.

While not mandatory, previous experience in telehealth counseling or familiarity with virtual therapy methods would be advantageous. Additional training in trauma-informed care or cognitive-behavioral therapies may enhance your effectiveness within this role.

• Annual salary range of $120,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• A one-time sign-on bonus of $3,000 to support your on-boarding process.
