St. Thomas More Catholic School is seeking a passionate, faith-filled Full-Time Middle School Teacher who is passionate about academic excellence, student growth, and fostering a Christ-centered classroom environment while supporting our mission of guiding students to be disciples of Jesus by focusing on spiritual and academic growth. This position includes serving as the 6th Grade Homeroom Teacher, with a preferred teaching focus in Social Studies and Religion, though content areas are open to negotiation based on candidate strengths and certification.

  • Create a positive and structured classroom environment that promotes student success
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to support student learning and development
  • Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction and classroom culture
  • Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Education, or related field
    • Valid teaching license
    • Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the school
    • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Preferred
    • Middle school teaching experience preferred
    • Practicing Catholic required for Religion instruction
