Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and create a world-class athlete experience and providing clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment. Anticipates the needs of the athlete; actively drives sales through product and services recommendations and a deep understanding of athlete needs.
  • Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members (as subject matter expert of their area of the store), focusing on best practices, expectational selling skills, and key operational processes. Serves as a go-to expert in designated process categories, ensuring smooth execution and high productivity.
  • Demonstrates efficiency and effectiveness in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset; ensures products are ready for athletes to purchase and athletes are engaged when, where, and how they want.
  • Upholds company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor set plans, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, replenishment standards, etc.
  • Promotes and drives customer participation in company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
  • Creates a store environment where everyone, both teammates and athletes, are always welcome and treated with respect.Adheres to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures, as well as to laws/guidelines of external governing entities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred
