BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSTS (BCBA)/BCaBA

Square One Behavioral Services is a professional agency specialized in providing Behavior Analysis services to children on the autism spectrum and/or other developmental and cognitive disabilities. We are currently seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCaBA to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Behavior Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCaBA your role will be to provide ABA services to individuals with behavioral challenges and skill deficits. You are responsible for conducting assessments, writing, implementing, and monitoring behavior plans, data collection and display, as well as training and supervising caregivers and staff in home and community settings. You will also supervise competent therapists such as Register Behavior Technician (RBT) and/or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to uphold regulatory standards applicable to behavior analysis in an ethical manner, and to meets the needs of their client(s) in the home and community.


Job type and location:

· Full time/ Part-time

· South Florida

Responsibility:

  • Conducts Functional Behavior Assessments when needed
  • Updates objectives that have been mastered for both reduction and acquisition as needed
  • Provide supervision to the therapist implementing reduction and acquisition program(s) once per week
  • Provides praise or corrective feedback (e.g., including modeling if necessary) if the programs are being implemented incorrectly once per week
  • Discusses the client’s progress with caregiver and discuss issues occurring in the home with the caregiver that are related to the program objectives
  • Provide parent training
  • Completes therapist evaluation weekly
  • Informs immediate supervisor of issues as they arise
  • Submits progress notes on time
  • Submits reports (e.g., reauthorization and monthly reports) on time
  • Completes daily progress notes

Required Skills:

  • Licensed as Board Certified as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCaBA
  • Master's degree in psychology, education or applied behavior analysis or Bachelors .
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Acceptance of philosophy and code of conduct of the Agency.
  • Must possess a high level of integrity.
  • MUST BE LICENSED
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
