Position Overview

Bee Hive Wellness Mental Health is seeking a dedicated and flexible Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in Paradise Valley, Nevada. Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while still engaging directly with clients through virtual and in-home therapy sessions. Our outpatient office serves as a hub for therapeutic resources and collaboration among a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping families navigate challenges associated with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This role is part of a supportive environment that emphasizes professional growth, teamwork, and positive client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on providing meaningful support either in-home or through our outpatient center.
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions aimed at improving anger management, coping strategies, and social skills for children and teens.
• Work closely with caregivers to enhance their decision-making skills and equip them with strategies to handle in-home behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and other community professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
• Complete all required documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, within designated time frames.
• Participate in regular team meetings, providing insight and recommendations based on your clients' progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on children aged 3-20 years who are facing developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. As a therapist, you will work with a diverse cross-section of youth exhibiting exceptional needs, providing tailored interventions to foster personal and social development while simultaneously supporting their families.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in Nevada.
• A minimum availability of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 PM), with weekend flexibility preferred.
• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle are essential for this role.
• A successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing positive behavior support is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience working with children, particularly those with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, will be an advantage.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable to enhance communication with a diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 60,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
