Job description

The Department of Pharmacy Practice is seeking a WNE student to assist faculty with preparation and coordination of Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) and standardized patient activities.

Because this position may involve access to confidential assessment materials, applicants cannot be currently enrolled in the PharmD program.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation and organization of OSCE materials
  • Assist with preparation of standardized patient training materials
  • Help coordinate communications and materials for standardized patients
  • Review standardized patient instructions for clarity and consistency
  • Organize case materials and supporting documents
  • Assist with scheduling and other administrative aspects of standardized patient activities
  • Assist with in-person or virtual standardized patient training as needed
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all OSCE cases and assessment materials
  • Complete other OSCE-related preparation tasks as assigned
  • Must not be enrolled in the PharmD program or pre-pharmacy
  • Current WNE student in good academic standing
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable and able to work independently
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office/365 and Zoom
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding assessment materials
