The Virtual Monitor Tech uses verbal redirection, communication with patient care staff, alarms and other techniques to safely redirect the patient from engaging in at risk behaviors. In addition, at times the virtual monitor tech will also serve as a patient observer at the bedside. Qualifications Skills: Required: Basic computer operation skills, capable of monitoring multiple patients at one time and remain alert while on duty, effective communication skills to patients and staff. Experience: Preferred: Prior Healthcare experience Education/Degree requirements: Required: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
