Position Overview

An established occupational and primary care-focused clinic is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive patient care in a collaborative clinical environment. This role involves evaluating and treating patients, managing acute and chronic conditions, supporting preventive health initiatives, and partnering with a supervising physician to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-employment, annual wellness, and occupational health physical examinations.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with established clinical protocols.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform health screenings and support disease prevention initiatives.
  • Evaluate and treat workplace injuries and general illnesses.
  • Review and discuss patient cases with clinical leadership as appropriate.
  • Support employee health programs, including respirator fit testing and hearing conservation programs.
  • Deliver age-appropriate patient assessments and interventions.
  • Educate patients on health management, wellness, and preventive care.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals through appropriate referrals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
  • Assist with clinic operations and patient care activities as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
  • Prescriptive authority as required by state regulations.
  • DEA registration.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
