Position Summary:
Are you ready to take your expertise to the next level? MLR.org is seeking a driven Anesthesia Technician to join our client's team, where your skills will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care. From setting up and maintaining state-of-the-art anesthesia equipment to assisting with patient preparation, you will be at the heart of every successful procedure.
Your role goes beyond the technical-you'll collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and a highly skilled medical team to ensure the safe and seamless administration of anesthesia. Every day, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on patient outcomes, all while working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain anesthesia equipment according to hospital standards and regulations
  • Prepare and check anesthesia equipment before use
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery, including monitoring vital signs and preparing the operating room
  • Assist with the administration of anesthesia according to the instructions of the anesthesiologist
  • Monitor patient during and after surgery for adverse reactions to anesthesia
  • Assist with the maintenance of anesthesia equipment, including cleaning and sterilization
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia activities and patient record
Qualifications:
  • Licensure / Certification:
    • Basic Life Support certification (May be obtained upon hire).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of Anesthesia Tech experience (3+ years preferred).
